Please do not confuse my role as a steward with being pro-union. I am not for or against unions, but I firmly believe that Unions and management can foster a beneficial relationship for both parties. I also understand that rules, and Collective Agreements are subject to interpretation based on past practice and intent and that the letter of the law and spirit of the law can be two different things. I also believe that management and union can work together in a collaborative relationship. I will work diligently to foster a culture to improve organizational performance and sustainability, which benefits management, the clients, and the employees
